Subway Menus USA is an independent, unofficial resource — we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by Subway® or Subway IP LLC. This page explains how we actually put our content together: how we check prices, how we verify location and availability information, how often we update, where our information comes from, and what happens when something is wrong. Our homepage also has a shorter summary in How We Collect Subway Menu Information — this page is the full version.
How We Research Prices
Because most Subway restaurants are independently owned franchises, there is no single national price list we can pull from — prices genuinely differ by state, city, and even by individual store. What we publish are realistic price ranges built from publicly available menu information, in-app pricing, and in-store menu boards across multiple locations and regions, cross-checked against each other rather than taken from a single source.
We treat every price on this site as an estimate, not a quote. Before ordering — especially for a large or catering order — we recommend confirming the exact price with your local restaurant or the official Subway app, since that is the only source that reflects your specific location’s current pricing.
How We Verify Location & Availability Information
Menu availability is one of the most inconsistent things about a franchise system this large — an item that’s standard in one region can be regional, seasonal, or simply unavailable in another. When we note that something is “select locations only,” “not standard at most U.S. locations,” or similar, that reflects a genuine effort to check availability across regions rather than assume every location is identical, using Subway’s official location tools, published regional menu information, and cross-referencing multiple stores where possible.
We can’t personally verify every one of Subway’s thousands of locations, so where availability is genuinely uncertain, we say so directly instead of stating it as a universal fact. The Subway Milkshakes page is a direct example — we disclose that milkshakes are not a standard U.S. menu item rather than presenting them as available everywhere.
Our Update Policy
Menu pages are reviewed on a rolling basis, not a fixed calendar schedule — pages tied to frequently changing information (prices, limited-time offers, promotions) are checked more often than reference-style pages (like our customization or allergen information) that change less frequently. Every page on this site shows a “Reviewed” date near the byline at the top, reflecting when that specific page was actually last checked or edited — not a blanket site-wide date. If a page hasn’t been reviewed recently, that date will say so honestly.
Sources We Use
- Subway’s official website, mobile app, and in-store menu boards
- Publicly available nutrition and ingredient information Subway provides to customers
- Direct comparison across multiple Subway locations and regions
- Reader-submitted corrections, which we verify before publishing (see below)
We do not use paid placements, sponsored rankings, or affiliate relationships with Subway to influence what we recommend on this site. Where we make a judgment call — like which sandwich is the “best value” or “lowest calorie” — that reasoning is our own editorial analysis based on the published prices and calories, not sponsored content.
How Corrections Happen
If you notice outdated pricing, an incorrect menu detail, or something that doesn’t match what you saw at your local restaurant, we want to know. Here’s what happens after you tell us:
- You report it through our Contact Us page, including the page, the item, and what you saw that differs from what we published.
- We check it against our existing sources and, where possible, a second independent source before changing anything — a single report tells us something might be outdated, but we verify before publishing a change.
- We update the page and refresh its “Reviewed” date so the correction is visible, not just silently applied.
- For widespread or regional differences (rather than a single wrong number), we adjust the page to reflect a range or note the regional variation instead of picking one location’s answer as universally correct.
We don’t guarantee every correction will result in a change — if we can’t verify a report against another source, we’ll say so rather than publish an unconfirmed edit. But every correction report gets reviewed, not ignored.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the official Subway website?
No. Subway Menus USA is an independent, unofficial fan resource. For official information, order online, or find your nearest location, visit subway.com directly.
How do I report incorrect information?
Use our Contact Us page and include the specific page, item, and what you observed. We review every submission.
Why do your prices sometimes not match what I paid?
Subway pricing is set at the franchise level and varies by location, so our published ranges are a realistic estimate, not a guarantee for your specific store. See our How Subway Pricing Works guide for the full explanation.
